What is Wrong with Bruce Springsteen?
As many of you know, I consider myself the world’s foremost authority on the meaning of Bruce Springsteen’s lyrics. I consider him to not only be a poetic genius, but a high priest of the values I embrace.
So why does Bruce, who himself embraces these values in his personal life — married to the same woman for thirty-five years, his children have all been baptized (and none of them is transgender), he raised a first responder, he attends the church in the town he grew up in and sings about the virtues of hard work, family, faith and, yes, despite the mis-misunderstood lyrics of “Born in the USA” which are nowhere near as anti-American as the people on the Left want you to believe that it is, patriotism — a Leftwing Democrat and America-hater in his public pronouncements today?
